The Margi is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World located 30 minutes from the city centre of Athens. I stayed in a room with a rain shower comfortable bed and complimentary internet access. The service is up to SLH standards and I can highly recommend The Margi as a quiet alternative to the hotels in the centre of Athens. Public transport is a bit complicated to the city centre, but available a short walk from the hotel.

What I liked: The beautiful design.
What about the food: Great breakfast and dinner. Good soup at the restaurant, but don’t expect a fine dining Relais & Châteaux experience.
