This 5-star hotel blends modern elegance with renowned Ritz-Carlton hospitality, making it a luxurious escape in the heart of Beijing’s financial district.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: Quick check-in before being escorted

What I liked the most? Staying in a hotel where things worked well. Nothing exceeded my expectations, but I think everything was met.

What about the service? Professional and standardized without being extraordinary. I have seen both better and worse from Ritz-Carlton. I would place their property in around the middle of the portfolio.

What about the rooms? Typical Ritz-Carlton design with a comfortable bed, separate rain shower, and Asprey products in the bathrooms.

Type of property: City hotel.

Location: Beijing, China.

Facilities: Spa, gym, swimming pool and business/meeting facilities. The club lounge is fully up to Ritz-Carlton’s standards but would be better with a high-end water like Evian instead of their own branded water any guest can get for free at any time.

Complimentary internet: Yes.

My overall impression: Great experience. Not an unforgettable experience, but a well-run business hotel with professional service and great facilities.
