Grand InterContinental Seoul

Grand InterContinental Seoul offers luxury in South Korea’s capital, blending modern elegance with Korean hospitality. Located in the heart of Gangnam, it offers spacious rooms and suites with panoramic city views. Guests can enjoy diverse dining options, including Korean cuisine at the renowned Table 34, unwind at the spa and fitness centre, and experience impeccable service. Grand InterContinental Seoul is a great choice for business and leisure travellers alike.
The hotel has 511 rooms and is part of Kiwi Collection. The hotel is was cirenely undergoing a major renovation with several facilities closed. My experience started with a quick check-in before being escorted to the room. I stayed in a Deluxe Room with an attractive, stylish design, comfortable bed, working desk and freestanding flatscreen TV. The bathroom could need an update, but had a separate shower from the bathtub.
The service was great in many ways, but I wasn’t impressed with the English level among the staff. Hard to have a conversation, even with the front desk manager, which was a surprise as this is a business-oriented city hotel in the capital of South Korea.
As I wrote earlier, several facilities were closed for renovation but this was expected to be completed in the following January. That includes 15 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 1.800 people, a huge ballroom, a swimming pool and three great restaurants.
The bottom line is that Grand InterContinental Seoul is a safe choice for business travellers or tourists needing a good location. The city metro with its impressive network is only a few steps from the hotel entrance.

My opinion: Good+ experience.
