Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

The arrival experience: My room was not ready in the morning, but I had complimentary internet and enjoyed the resort’s excellent facilities.

What I liked the most about the hotel? The beautiful contemporary design and excellent facilities.

What about the food? The breakfast buffet was crowded. I am picky about food, especially breakfast, and I was disappointed with the selection and quality of the food.

What about the service? The front desk staff is professional and well-trained, but other areas of the hotel, such as the spa, could be improved.

What about the rooms? They are Beautiful, with freestanding bathtubs and rain showers. The beds are comfortable but could be softer. The lobby is beautiful but has a strong, unpleasant perfume smell. The rooms also have working desks, flat-screen TVs, and balconies with beautiful views.

Location: Dubai.

Facilities: The resort has a spa, swimming pool, gym, and meeting facilities. It also has a business centre, but it charges for using a computer to surf the web, which I find unacceptable. In terms of facilities, the resort is worth its 5 stars, and none feel outdated.

Complimentary internet? Not as a standard. Only for Marriott Rewards members, but you can join this loyalty club for free.
