InterContinental Bali Resort is a luxurious beachfront retreat in Jimbaran, Bali. It features spacious rooms and villas with traditional Balinese décor and modern amenities. Guests can enjoy diverse dining options, unwind at the spa and outdoor pools, and participate in cultural activities. With direct beach access and stunning sunset views, InterContinental Bali Resort is a corporate resort well worth considering in Bali.
InterContinental Bali Resort is a 14-hectare tropical resort with 418 room resort and beautiful public areas. The beach at Jimbaran Bay is one of the better in Bali and if you like corporate hotels, InterContinental does a really good job with this one in many ways. Having stayed at many resorts in Bali, I arrived with expectations based on impressive resorts in the past. The lobby staff are professional and the arrival was as expected, but the standard rooms are not impressive. My room was even dirty and not cleaned properly. An example was the telephone which was full of dust. The standard room felt more like it could be anywhere in the world and actually in any city in the world.
While the room didn’t meet my expectations, I was satisfied with the quality of their Japanese restaurant called KO. Great, high-quality food from the talented chef. The breakfast buffet had lots of options, but was lacking quality and with up to 800 other guests around you often have to wait at the buffet. Finally, it is worth mentioning the free internet which is a big plus and probably unusual for InterContinental at the time and the fact that they have over 800 staff to take care of the 418 rooms.
Overall a pleasant experience and with good value for money, it’s just far from the best you can get in Bali, but that also involves a higher price.
