It’s not an easy question, but Positano comes to mind. Positano is a picturesque coastal town located in the Campania region of Italy. It is situated on the Amalfi Coast, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. The town is known for its colourful buildings, narrow streets, and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. Positano has been a popular tourist destination for decades, attracting visitors from different parts of the world.
One of the most notable features of Positano is its architecture. The town is built into the side of a cliff, with buildings stacked on top of each other. The colourful buildings are a mix of pastel shades, ranging from pink and yellow to blue and green. The narrow streets and alleyways are lined with boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, making it a great place to wander around and explore.
Finally, Positano is a great place to use as a base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Visitors can take boat trips to nearby towns like Amalfi, Ravello, and Capri or hike along the coastline to enjoy breathtaking views of the sea.
Positano is a charming and beautiful town that is well worth a visit. With its colourful architecture, stunning beaches, and rich history, it is no wonder that it has become such a popular destination for travellers worldwide.
