Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove, Seychelles

Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove is a great resort located on the stunning main island, Mahe, in the Seychelles. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and overlooking the azure waters of the Indian Ocean, this luxurious resort offers spacious rooms and suites with stunning sea views. Guests indulge in cuisine, rejuvenating spa treatments, and many water sports for the possibility of creating great memories.

My Experience: Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove must be one of the smallest Le Meridien hotels in the world. It has only 68 rooms and a less corporate feel than usual. I have stayed at several Le Meridien hotels worldwide, and it’s been hit-and-miss. Their property in Mauritius didn’t impress me much, as it was outdated and had disappointing food, but I didn’t know how this property would be beforehand.

It was almost the opposite, as the experience exceeded my expectations here. I had great first impressions as I arrived before they escorted me to the room. It had a lovely contemporary design, complimentary Wi-Fi at an acceptable speed, and great food from a talented French chef. Food is often disappointing for me at 5-star resorts in the Indian Ocean, but this is an exception. This resort has made an effort, and almost everything exceeded my expectations.

I think you get more than you would expect from a Le Meridien. The location is stunning on the beach, and I am happy to say, this is the best Le Meridien property I have stayed in my travels.

Duration of Stay/Visit: Two nights.

My Opinion: Great experience.
