My Arrival Experience: Warm welcome from the staff.
What I Liked the Most: To find a hotel of Shangri-La’s standards in the crowded city of Malé
What About the Food: Surprisingly, the rooftop restaurant serves great food. In a direct comparison, it’s a lot better than many of the 5-star island resorts.
What About the Service: The service is very good, and the staff is trained. Despite being a city hotel, Shangri-La, the chain behind this hotel, has done a better job than many of the 5-star resorts in the Maldives.
What About My Room: It is a beautiful room with a comfortable bed, rain shower, working desk, and flat-screen TV.

Facilities: Pool, spa, gym and business/meeting facilities.
Complimentary Internet: Yes, with acceptable speed.
My Overall Impression: It was a good+ experience. It is the best place to stay in Malé and an ideal hotel if you arrive late and have to stay somewhere for a night before going to your island resort.
