Hotel Indigo Helsinki – Boulevard
Indigo is IHG’s upscale boutique brand. Hotel Indigo Helsinki – Boulevard is a lovely hotel with excellent reviews in Finland’s capital. The hotel not only offers comfortable rooms and friendly service but also a sauna and a gym.
My arrival experience: Friendly check-in from Anna at the reception.
What I loved: The design and convenient location for exploring Helsinki.
What about the food: An acceptable small breakfast buffet. Some items were missing but overall an okay buffet.
What about the service: Friendly service from Anna at the reception. I didn’t interact any other staff members during my stay so it’s hard to have an overall picture of the service besides this. The General Manager is friendly by e-mail and replied to me quickly.
What about my room: Beautiful bouqitue-styled room with comfortable bed, rain shower, flat screen TV, working desk and a local welcome amenity snack.
Number of rooms: 120.

Type of property: City hotel.
Location: Helinski, Finland.
Complimentary internet: Yes and fast.
My overall impression: Good+ experience. It’s a very good boutique hotel and certainly a lot better than Klaus K Hotel in direct comparison.
Finnair flew me from Copenhagen to Helsinki and back. Both flights were pleasant and I enjoyed flying them for the first time. They also introduced a new route from Billund years ago, their second airport to serve in Denmark.
