Hestia Hotel Kentmanni

Hestia Hotel Kentmanni is a 92-room 4-star hotel with an excellent location on a quiet street in central Tallinn, close to the city’s old town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hestia Hotel Kentmanni has an impressive 9,3 ranking on Booking.com making it one of the highest ranked hotels in the city. I have stayed at the hotel for more than two months total and found it to be an excellent hotel where things works. First, the location on a quiet street, close to the American embassy, yet in a central location where you can easily explore Tallinn by foot.

Next, the room is very well made. An isolated door making the room very quiet, a rain shower with excellent water pressure, a comfortable bed, a working desk and a fridge. It think back about Hestia Hotel Kentmanni with great memories. The staff is excellent. The receptionists was always friendly to help with various requests. Henry Kielberg, the Front Office Manager is top professional and very fast in handling requests. Many 5-star hotels could learn from him and Hesita Hotel Kentmanni.

Finally, I will finish with another of the main selling points. The spa area. It includes a 12-person hot tub, a steam bath, a sauna and several showers. There is also a great gym with modern equipment. It’s very impressive and we were several times the only guest there, making it even more special.

Spa access is included in the room rate, as long as the government allows it to be open. This article is written during the COVID-19-lockdown in Estonia which includes spas, but whenever it’s over, and travel to Estonia is a lot easier, I can highly recommend Hestia Hotel Kentmanni. It’s one of the best value city hotels I have stayed anywhere in the world, and much better than many 5-star hotels I have stayed around the world.
