What I liked the most? The house itself! The rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff was kind.

What about the service? Derwent has  truly great staff. This is where Derwent is better than many other boutique hotels and guest houses in Cape Town. The staff is better trained and friendlier than many hotels I have stayed.

What about my room? It was a beautiful, small contemporary room with a comfortable bed, working desk, flat-screen TV, standalone shower, and a balcony with beautiful views.
