My Arrival Experience: Warm welcome from Emily and the staff before receiving a welcome drink and towel.
What I loved: The private swimming pool and that Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru is a quiet resort with a high level of privacy.
What About the Food: Banyan Tree is a great brand and I’ve had many memorable experiences with them in the past, but when it comes to food they are far from the best. Their Maldivian property is no exception and if high-quality, fine-dining food is important to you this might not be for you. There was nothing wrong with the food. It was okay. Just far from the best in the Maldives and you probably would expect better for the price.
What About the Service: Great service by the reception. Some staff could need more training. Especially housekeeping, but overall satisfied with the service.
What About My Room: Beautiful beachfront villa with comfortable bed, private swimming pool, jacuzzi, outdoor shower and indoor shower.

My Overall Impression: Great experience. I had a lovely experience. It’s not perfect, but a great certainly a great resort.
