Armani Hotel Milano

The 95-room Armani Hotel Milano is the brands second hotel and are conveniently located in the fasion district of Milan. The rooms are a bit different from their Dubai property, but still very impressive and with details personally selected by Mr. Armani himself.

High speed internet and fully stocked mini bar are complimentary with high quality items. The bathroom had lovely Armani branded products and a separate shower from the bathtub. The bed was soft and very comfortable and in terms of the rooms I would rank Armani Hotel Milano very highly.

The service is always important and it always take time for new hotels to get it right. That is also the case in Armani. I was a little disappointed with the arrival which felt cold with the comment “I need your passport”. The service was in general good keeping in mind it opened last year, but there is room for improvement.

Although the service could be improved, I liked the experience here. The design is so well designed and it makes it a potential wow factor for many guests, I think. Exactly as in Armani Hotel Dubai where the service wasn’t memorable either.

The lifestyle manager is part of both hotel experiences, but while the Dubai property got that part right, I didn’t even see the lifestyle manager during my stay in Milan.

The facilities includes a beautiful spa with indoor swimmingpool with beautiful views of Milan. It’s also worth to mention Amrani Hotel Milano was included in the 2012 edition of Condé Nast Travelers Hot List as one of the best new hotels in the world. It’s highly recommended for a unique design experience and with the potential to be truly fantastic if they get the service right. The stay ended with a truly great breakfast with kind staff and personalized service.
