Arakur Ushuaia Resort & Spa

Location: Ushuaia, Argentina.

Arakur Ushuaia Resort & Spa is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and is set in beautiful surroundings in Ushuaia, one of the most southern cities in the world. I have ranked Arakur as a great+ experience based on my one-night stay because of the stunning location, lovely design, great food and excellent staff.

I stayed in one of their standard rooms with a beautiful design, complimentary internet, a rain shower and a separate bathtub. I like it when hotels stand out from the typical city hotels, and Arakur definitely stands out. The staff are very friendly and down to earth which made me feel very welcome as a guest instead of the formal service you often see at 5-star properties. Arakur is among the best Leading Hotels I have stayed, and I can’t recommend it enough if you visit the South of Argentina.

My Opinion: Great+ experience.

Silversea: After my night at Arakur, I went on a 22-night cruise with Silversea from Ushuaia to Cape Town. Many passengers stayed here, and Silversea had staff at the hotel and a shuttle to the port.
