Gram Castle

Location: Gram, Sønderjylland, Denmark.
In 2007, Sanne and Svend Brodersen bought Gram Castle, after it had been empty for 25 years. Since then, the couple have created a business that includes events such as concerts, parties, courses and conferences. In addition to this, they have an organic farm.

Gram Castle is not a luxury hotel, but a traditional Danish country experience. The castle itself has one suite, while most of the rooms are located on the estate in beautiful surroundings. I stayed in a basic, clean room with a shared bathroom.

Gram Slot has great staff and good food (again, traditional). That together with beautiful surroundings in a lovely area of Denmark makes it worth a visit.
