Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
What I liked: This is one of the best large hotels I have stayed in. Despite having 499 rooms, the service is professional and personal. The entire Yas Island is just wonderful, with lots of things to see and do. I also loved the facilities, including the beautiful ESPA spa. A big plus is that it is entirely smoke-free. I would prefer many more UAE hotels will follow shortly, as I am not a fan of passive smoke, to say the least.
What about the food: They have a Great breakfast and an excellent Italian restaurant. According to their Italian chef, I can highly recommend their pizzas, which are made entirely of Italian ingredients.
What about the rooms: Beautiful contemporary rooms and suites. During my site inspection, I stayed in two suites and saw the standard rooms. Comfortable beds, separate showers, attention to detail and beautiful views of the Formula 1 track.
