Hotel Landhaus Wachtelhof, Rotenburg

Hotel Landhaus Wachtelhof is an elegant 5-star hotel located in the heart of the small town of Rotenburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. During a road trip in 2022, I had the chance to experience the hotel and it was quite an experience.

The experience started with the stunning and charming main building before receiving a warm welcome followed by arriving at a beautifully designed room. The room had a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, a separate sitting area and a nice bathroom with a good shower. The room also had free Wi-Fi as you would expect from just about any hotel in Europe these days. A lot has happened since I started my travel blog in 2009.

The main highlight of the hotel was for me the spa. It had great relaxing facilities like a sauna and steam as well as a lovely indoor swimming pool which I enjoyed a lot.
