The Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda (2014 Stay)

Introduction: The Fairmont Southampton is one of only a handful of luxury resorts on the Atlantic island of Bermuda. With its beautiful pink colonial building, this 593-room resort is the biggest in Bermuda, with professional service and well-trained staff. In my opinion, it is similar to staying in a resort in America and feels very corporate, almost like a city hotel. The rooms are similar to other Fairmont hotels I have stayed, and I really enjoyed my one night stay at this property. I didn’t experience the food, but a complimentary boat runs into Hamilton several times a day with excellent dining options.

Arrival experience: Quick check-in. Not escorted to the room.
