PIERDREI Hotel HafenCity Hamburg
PIERDREI Hotel HafenCity Hamburg is a beautiful modern hotel located in Hafen City in Hamburg. The 212-room hotel offers an excellent location for exploring Hamburg on foot and it was an easy decision to contact the hotel about the stay in the summer of 2023. If you prefer to explore the city on a bike, a rental is possible at the hotel itself. My first place when researching hotels is often booking.com where Pierdrei has an impressive guest satisfaction score of 8.8 at the time I am writing this article.
My stay started at the reception where a friendly receptionist checked me in. I stayed in a contemporary room with a comfortable bed, rain shower and complimentary WI-FI access. The comfort level of the room was comparable to a great chain hotel like a Hilton or a Sheraton. The service can always be hit-and-miss in a hotel, but here it was great. Friendly helpful receptionists during my stay. Breakfast is served every morning, but due to a strict diet, I can’t tell the quality of it as I didn’t experience the breakfast. Having stayed at many hotels throughout my travels, I have experienced the quality to vary a lot when it comes to non-chain hotels. One of the ways you can see this is when it comes to housekeeping. PIERDREI did a great job as I didn’t experience problems I have often had at independent hotels like chemical-smelling bed linen, pillows and towels. All were up to a high standard and feel.
I have stayed at a number of hotels in my travels that were a “Member of Design Hotels”, and when thinking back about my stay at PIERDREI, I think it could be a good match as it has an attractive design combined with a good level of service. 25hours Hotels is another group that comes to mind, so if you have experienced Design Hotels or 25hours and liked it, you might better know what to expect if you book a stay at PIERDREI. I definitely liked it and was very satisfied with my stay. It is highly recommended as a great hotel with a good location in Hamburg.
