Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives

Below is my experience based on a seven-night stay at the property. My third visit to the island.

What I Liked: Staying a week gave me the feel of a good holiday, instead of the typical short stays I’ve had in the past. The design, service and the island are better than a typical Holiday Inn experience.
What About the Service: Great service from well-trained staff. It helps to have IHG behind with great management.
What About My Room: I stayed in a comfortable room with a wooden floor, comfortable bed, outdoor shower and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Number of Rooms: 160.
Type of Property: Resort.
Location: Maldives.
Facilities: Pool, spa, gym and business centre.
Complimentary Internet: Yes and free
My Overall Impression: Great experience. Kandooma is not your typical Holiday Inn! In fact, this property was included in Condé Nast Travelers Hot List of the best new properties in the world when it opened, although not a Holiday Inn at the time as far as I understand. Well-run in all areas of the resort and a safe choice with great value in the Maldives. Comparable with more expensive resorts in the Maldives, making it one of the best deals in the country.
