Eikendal Lodge offers a tranquil escape in Stellenbosch vineyards. Nestled amidst lush gardens, this charming lodge features nine spacious en-suite rooms. Each boasts a private terrace with stunning views of the Helderberg Mountains and surrounding wine estates. Guest can unwind by the pool or explore the Stellenbosch wine region, all with friendly service.

Below is my experience based on a two-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: Wendy warmly welcomed me before escorting me to the room.

What I liked: The location, staff and very fast Wi-Fi.

What about the food: It had a very good breakfast buffet. Their Italian restaurant is a ten-minute walk from the hotel but on the same estate.

What about the service: Very friendly service with attention to details.

What about my room: Charming room with comfortable bed, shower in bathtub and stunning views.

Number of rooms: 9.

Type of property: Country hotel.

Location: Close to Stellenborsch, South Africa.

Complimentary internet: Yes, it’s very fast, unlimited, and works in the room. It was impressive. This is not always the case in country hotels in South Africa.

My overall impression: Great experience. It is a lovely country hotel with great value for money.
