Auberge de la Vieille Tour, Guadeloupe

Previously an MGallery by Accor hotel, Auberge de la Vieille Tour is one of the best places to stay in Guadeloupe, located approximately 10 minutes drive from the centre of Pointe-à-Pitre.

My stay at Auberge de la Vieille Tour ended up being very short. Because of Air France, I arrived around 8 hours later than expected in Guadeloupe and as I had a boat to catch early morning, I didn’t see Auberge de la Vieille Tour in daylight. Instead, I experienced great service from a friendly Martiniquais/Vietnamese receptionist and enjoyed the comfortable room with complimentary Wi-Fi.

There are 104 rooms total at Auberge de la Vieille Tour and the facilities include an outdoor pool, lounge bar, seminar rooms and tennis court. There is a boat shuttle to the islet of Le Gosier at ten minutes walking distance from the hotel.
