21 Nettleton

21 Nettleton is a new small 4-room boutique hotel located in the Clifton area of Cape Town with extraordinary views. My experience started with a warm welcome before I arrived in the beautiful room.

21 Nettleton is much more than your average boutique hotel. It’s smaller with better service and a lot of attention to detail. Expensive Africology products show they are not focusing on cost saving, but instead on impressing the guest. And impressed I was. The room had a freestanding bathtub and an iPad where you could text them directly instead of calling. I never liked that part of the typical hotel experience. You ask for something and ask for them to call you back or receive that unexpected call when you are busy.

The mini-bar is outside the room where drinks are complimentary as part of the stay. The complimentary internet is extremely fast and unlimited. The staff is excellent and friendly. They took care of all my requests. It makes a difference only having four rooms where it almost feels like you are the only guest there. I enjoyed my stay and can’t fault it. A wonderful boutique hotel for travellers looking for a unique and personalised experience in Cape Town.

The first hotel in three weeks: 21 Nettleton was the first hotel I stayed in three weeks after coming to Cape Town with Silversea from the South of Argentina.
