SEAES Hotel & Resort Jeju is one of only three 5-star resorts on the beautiful South Korean island of Jeju at the time of my visit. The other two 5-star hotels have over 400 rooms, while SEAES only has 25 and offers a truly Korean experience. The traditional design, the breakfast and the entire staff are all Korean, and only a few staff members speak English.

The rooms and suites are up to a high standard, and I was very impressed with the design. My suite also had a freestanding bathtub in the bathroom, nice local products and an outdoor bathtub as the highlights. All in a traditional Korean design that impressed me. The property also offers high-speed complimentary internet access, and it’s highly recommended as a good base for a visit to Jeju island.
