Parrot Cay by COMO (2014 Stay)

Introduction: Parrot Cay is a private island resort located in the Turks & Caicos Islands in the Caribbean. The feeling is similar to their Asian resorts I have experienced and especially Uma Ubud, where I stayed about two years prior to my stay at Parrot Cay. This is a lovely resort in a stunning location.

Arrival experience: Warm welcome and a welcome drink (fruit punch) before being escorted to the room.

What I liked: The location and the Balinese staff. In fact, most of the staff are from Bali. The standard rooms are a bit too basic and outdated in my opinion, but the villas are very impressive. The property itself is beautiful and takes time to fully explore.

What about the food: Excellent breakfast with á la carte choices and a huge buffet with quality items.
