Mollies Auckland is a luxury boutique hotel in Auckland, New Zealand. Renowned for its elegant, historical charm and personalized service, it offers sumptuous suites, exquisite dining, and serene garden views. The hotel combines classic architecture with modern amenities, providing guests with a unique experience. It is great for romantic getaways, business trips, or special occasions.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome from Steve before being escorted to the suite.

What I liked the most? The extraordinary design, the service and the fantastic breakfast.

What about the food? A fantastic a la carte breakfast with fresh, organic and mostly local ingredients. The dining concept has changed at Mollie’s since they left Relais & Châteaux and dinner is now only available upon request.

What about the service? It’s very personal. The host, Steve, and his wife, Bernadette, run Mollies like a home. The service is some of the best I have experienced anywhere in the world.

What about the rooms? They are extraordinary suites. All 12 suites are individually designed and what I saw was stunning. Some bathrooms don’t have rain showers, but all have local Nellie Tier products. The mini-bar is complimentary and it has lots of drinks and snacks. The beds are fantastic, and my room at Mollie’s is one of the best I’ve seen in all of my travels.
