InterContinental Samui Resort, situated on a dramatic cliffside overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, offers luxurious accommodations and breathtaking ocean views. I arrived excited and left very impressed with this InterContinental resort.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome with a towel and drink before being escorted to the room.

What I liked the most: The size of the resort and the surprisingly good Western food, which is rare for resorts in Asia.

What about the food? Surprisingly good Western food. Excellent mushroom soup and ravioli, which I would highly recommend.

What about the service: Great service in all areas of the hotel. Smiling staff all over, and professional staff at the front desk. You know the hotel has it right when all phone calls are answered professionally and kindly. Great attention to detail, such as bath salt at the bathtub and welcome amenities.

What about the rooms? They are Beautiful, stylish rooms with comfortable beds, separate rain showers, beautiful bathtubs, double sinks, and extraordinary views from the balcony. I was very satisfied with the room due to its design, but for an even more luxurious experience, you may select a suite or villa.
