Holiday Inn Resort Bali Canggu
Bali is one of my favourite destinations in the world, and I have stayed about a month in total on the island in my life. Canggu has quickly become Bali’s trendiest beach town, where surfers, yogis, digital nomads, and families mingle among stylish cafés and boutiques. Tucked right in the middle of this lively scene, Holiday Inn Resort Bali Canggu offers some of both worlds: modern, reliable comfort with a splash of Balinese character.
Rooms That Feel Like Home (But Better)
The rooms are up to a high standard with a beautiful contemporary design. Whether you’re in a cosy premium room, waking up to the ocean from a balcony suite, or settling into a family-friendly space with bunk beds for the kids, the vibe is the same—simple, warm, and uncluttered. It’s the kind of place where you drop your bags and instantly can feel settled.
Rooftop Sunsets & Poolside Days
The highlight here is the rooftop infinity pool, where the horizon melts into the sea. Guests linger with cocktails at sunset, practice yoga as the sun rises, or simply float the afternoon away. It’s the kind of spot that makes you forget about time altogether.
Play, Move, and Unwind
Holiday Inn Resort Bali Canggu knows how to keep energy high and stress low. The weekly activities range from sunrise yoga and boxing classes to aqua aerobics and Balinese arts and crafts. Families can enjoy the colourful kids’ club, while fitness buffs make use of the 24-hour gym overlooking the ocean.
A Taste of Bali at ROOMAH
The resort’s signature restaurant, ROOMAH, delivers flavours that strike a balance between comfort and tradition. The standout dish? Slow-cooked chicken betutu with fragrant spices and sambal matah. Breakfasts are just as memorable, with fresh pastries, tropical fruits, and Indonesian specialties. Families will also appreciate perks like the “Kids Eat Free” program.
Location
Step outside, and Batu Bolong Beach is only a few minutes’ walk away. From there, it’s easy to explore Bali’s most Instagram-famous cafés, bars, and surf spots. For cultural day trips, Tanah Lot temple and Petitenget are possible to reach easily by car, while the airport sits just 40 minutes away.
The Overall Feel
What makes Holiday Inn Resort Bali Canggu special isn’t just the amenities—it’s the balance. It’s a place that feels both polished and playful, suitable for a romantic escape, a family holiday, or a solo wellness trip. The Balinese hospitality, the comfortable rooms with IHG standards, and the rooftop sunsets are some of the highlights.
