DoubleTree by Hilton Luxembourg

DoubleTree by Hilton Luxembourg is set in beautiful surroundings outside the city centre of Luxembourg City. I have stayed at this hotel several times because I went to Luxembourg for medical reasons in 2024.

I have stayed at more than 1,500 properties in the world, and I often prefer to stay at chain hotels where a lot of standards are followed. Although this property isn’t the newest Hilton property, it is similar to staying at many Hilton-operated hotels. In terms of facilities, the hotel has a fitness centre, an indoor pool and a business centre. The hotel was very helpful several times during my visits and I appreciated it. It was especially important during my first stay when I had surgery done in the city centre.

Many travellers prefer to stay in centrally located hotels in cities, but not me. I prefer quiet locations for better sleep and cleaner air. For this, it was a really ideal location for me. Upon arrival, I was offered a chocolate cookie which seems to be a standard for DoubleTree hotels as the same was offered at a DoubleTree in Cape Town later in the year. My room at the first stay was comfortable with a feeling of similar Hilton hotels including a comfortable bed, typical old-school Hilton design and a nice bathroom with a good shower.
