CitizenM Seattle Pioneer Square
CitizenM Seattle Pioneer Square is a stylish and modern hotel located in Seattle, Washington. This hotel came up during my research as an interesting hotel to experience. Before arriving in Seattle, I had just stayed at CitizenM’s property in the centre of Amsterdam, and I arrived with the expectation of something similar.
One of the standout features of CitizenM Seattle Pioneer Square is its central location. The hotel is situated in the Pioneer Square neighbourhood, meaning within walking assistance of many of the city’s main attractions, including the famous Pike Place Market, the stunning Space Needle, and the bustling downtown area.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed and decorated, with a contemporary and stylish atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, with modern amenities like flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, a working desk and comfortable bedding. I liked the room more than at their Amsterdam property as it was more spacious. Noise can be a big issue at city hotels, but fortunately, this CitizenM hotel seemed to have done a great job with the sound isolation. The hotel also features a range of on-site amenities, including a 24-hour canteen, a lounge area, and a bar, making it a great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.
Another highlight of CitizenM Seattle Pioneer Square is its commitment to technology. The hotel is designed to offer a seamless and high-tech experience for guests. The check-in/check-out process was simple, and it is something I prefer, especially compared to several other hotels in America I’ve stayed in the past with a long waiting time for check-in or to hotels where they escort you to the room and explain room features.
CitizenM is a unique hotel chain with ultra-contemporary design, great atmospheres and friendly staff. There is a lack of facilities like a spa and a gym, but in many cases, a lot of guests don’t use them, and for those, it would be a waste of money to pay for something they don’t need. In terms of value, it is very expensive to travel in America at the moment, but when compared with other options in Seattle, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I can highly recommend it as a lovely experience and a great place to stay in this fascinating American city.
