Introduction: After its long journey around the globe and conquering the hearts of many nations, the Buddha-Bar concept has finally arrived in Budapest.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: I had a long wait before the receptionist was ready to check on me. The bellman then escorted me to the room.

What I liked: The beautiful old building, the location and the authentic design.

What about the rooms: They are Interesting but perhaps a bit too dark for some. My room had a large bathtub with a rainshower, while the standard rooms had standalone showers.

Facilities: Fitness Center, Spa and a business centre (two computers in the lobby)

Complimentary internet: Yes, and very fast.
