Al Qasr at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai offers a special luxurious stay with a classical design. This five-star hotel features beautiful rooms, great dining, a spa, and private beach access. Guests can enjoy luxurious accommodations, professional services, gardens, and impressive facilities, making it a great hotel experience in Dubai.

Al Qasr At Madinat Jumeirah Hotel Dubai is an Arabic-themed hotel and after several impressive experiences with the Jumeirah brand in the past, I arrived excited to see how good this hotel would be. The first impression was of the old architectural Arabic style which is completely different from the other Jumeirah hotels I’ve stayed in the past.

The check-in was great with a warm welcome and lots of information from the receptionist before being escorted to the room. Al Qasr has 292 rooms and I stayed in a Luxury Room. It featured a comfortable bed, flatscreen TV, working desk, sitting area and beautiful views of the sea and Burj Al Arab. The bathroom had a large bathtub and a lovely rain shower. It was also the first of my over 700 hotels (at the time) to have products specifically for women and men.

All guests at Al Qasr get complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark which is worth noting as a value point. The complex also features a traditional souk Madinat with more than 95 shops. Some resorts lack facilities and activities, but not in Al Qasr. A big spa complex with a large gym and indoor swimming pool and several activities make it hard to have a boring time here.

The food is always hit-and-miss in resorts. In Dubai, I have generally been very satisfied with the food level and Al Qasr was no exception. It was truly great as I had both lunch and breakfast in the hotel. At breakfast, you can really feel the hotel is big and service can therefore be a little slow. The hotel is too big for my taste, but it’s great for what it is.

The bottom line is that Al Qasr At Madinat Jumeirah offers a unique, different local experience, but also with a very corporate feel to it. It’s well-managed and certainly a great experience.
