With impressive luxury and great service, The Ritz-Carlton Almaty offers a great experience in Kazakhstan’s vibrant city of Almaty. Guests can also enjoy afternoon tea in the elegant lobby. This 5-star hotel reflects legendary Ritz-Carlton hospitality, making it a great base to explore Almaty’s cultural treasures and unwind in luxurious comfort.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome from the receptionist. Upon arriving after a long walk in the rain, I was offered ginger tea and laundry.

What I liked the most: The room, views and the outstanding Six Senses Spa.

What about the food? It was a good breakfast buffet, but high-quality imported items were missing.

What about the service? It exceeded my expectations. The reception staff are well-trained and great. Attention to detail seemed fully comparable with some of the other Ritz-Carlton properties I’ve stayed.

What about the rooms? Beautiful rooms fully up to Ritz-Carlton’s standards. Separate shower from the bathtub, flatscreen TV and comfortable bed.
