Archive article. A small recommendation about this hotel which I stayed in 2009.
Coeur des Alpes, Zermatt is a great small ski hotel with a homely atmosphere and unique architecture. Very friendly staff, good spa facilities and great rooms. Some with views of the stunning Matterhorn. This hotel could easily be part of a prestigious marketing organisation like Small Luxury Hotels of the World, but is on its own. A great hotel in a stunning destination. Switzerland is included in a list I’ve made of my favourite countries. It’s extraordinary nature experiences are for sure very impressive.
