Tongsai Grand Villas, Koh Samui

I arrived excited to experience the resort.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome with a drink and towel before being escorted to the room.

What I liked the most: It was the impressive grand villa I stayed in.

What about the food: The food was overall OK. The breakfast buffet could be improved, while the lunch was quite food. I would definitely say it is acceptable for a Small Luxury Hotels property, but far from Hansar or Conrad in Samui, have much better food to offer. It all depends on your own priorities and expectations.

What about the service: Smiling and friendly staff. More training of some of the staff would improve the overall experience.

What about the rooms: Stunning villas. I stayed in one of the grand villas with large swimming pool, outdoor bathtub, comfortable bed, rainshower and double sink.

Number of rooms: 83 in the whole complex, however the 15 grand villas are part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Type of property: Resort.

Location: Koh Samui, Thailand.
