My Arrival Experience: Warm welcome from the kind staff. Was almost immediately escorted to the room.
What I Liked the Most: The country feels like the city of Johannesburg.
What About the Service: The hotel has friendly, well-trained staff in all areas. The Residence is probably my second favourite in Johannesburg after The Saxon.
What About My Room: It was a beautiful room with a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, working desk, freestanding bathtub, and rain shower. The welcome amenities and attention to detail were very impressive.

Type of Property: City hotel with a country feel.
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa.
Facilities: The pool, spa, gym, and business/meeting facilities make it a 5-star hotel in the South African rating system.
