Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort

Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort is a 255-room resort set on the shores of the Andaman Sea. My experience started with an arrival in the morning waiting in public areas for my room to be ready. I stayed in a comfortable room with a Thai feel, contemporary design and complimentary Wi-Fi. A random search showed rooms available at Outrigger for less than 100 dollars per night. That’s great value in an otherwise, in my opinion, pricey 5-star market for quality hotels in Phuket. That is in direct comparison with Bali, where I feel you get a lot more for your money.

There are many facilities at Outrigger Laguna, making them worthy of their 5 stars. A big pool, fitness centre, spa, game room, badminton, squash, tennis, and badminton courts and a business centre. The service is good from the friendly staff as you would expect in a 5-star resort in Thailand. The Bangtao beach is nice and the Outrigger Laguna is overall a great place to stay for the money in Phuket.
