My arrival experience: Warm welcome from the staff, including Elza, the resort manager.
What I liked the most: My water villa.
What about the food: I was satisfied with the food at this resort overall. Only one dish disappointed me (a vegetarian pizza). The Balinese chef was friendly and came to see me during dinner and at check-out as well. He did a great job, as I found the food at Outrigger to be better than at many similar resorts in the Maldives. At the time of writing this review, I had stayed at 51 resorts in the country, so it’s fair to say I have a lot to compare.
What about the service: I am very satisfied with it. I had a lot of requests, and the resort handled them almost to perfection. You might pay a lot to stay at Outrigger but get a lot in return. The staff is well-trained, and the service is professional throughout the resort.
What about my room: Wonderful water villa with a private pool and a large bathtub in the bathroom, which also had a rain shower and Aromatherapy Associates. My only problem with the villa would be the very basic-looking sinks. The bed was comfortable, and I was very satisfied with the accommodation at Outrigger overall.

My Overall Impression: Great+ experience. One of the best resorts in the Maldives for the price.
