Turkmenistan Airlines, the national carrier of Turkmenistan, was established in 1992. Headquartered in Ashgabat, it operates from its primary hub at Ashgabat International Airport. The airline serves domestic routes and international destinations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Known for its focus on safety and reliability, Turkmenistan Airlines utilizes a modern fleet to ensure passenger comfort. It plays a vital role in connecting Turkmenistan with the world, supporting both tourism and business travel. The airline is committed to improving its services and expanding its network, enhancing its reputation as a key player in Central Asian aviation.

Indian travel agency Deepika Travels works closely with Turkmenistan Airlines and helped me with a one-way flight from Ashgabat to Birmingham. I am very thankful as Turkmenistan Airlines wasn’t an airline I expected to be part of my travel project. Turkmenistan is one of my favourite countries in Central Asia and one of the best travel experiences I have had. I can highly recommend a visit. There is no country quite like it.

The airline itself is good and comparable to other 3-star national carriers. I can highly recommend flying with them, particularly since they meet the EU safety standards.

Turkmenistan Airlines flies to five domestic destinations and 14 international destinations as of 2016.
