Cape Standard is located on a quiet street in the Green Point area of Cape Town. Finding the line between a boutique hotel and a guest house is often difficult in Cape Town. Cape Standard would, in many countries, be a boutique hotel, but they call themselves a guest house. If I were to give an award for being the cleanest hotel in the world, it could be the Cape Standard. Spotless, clean, and ultra-comfortable.

The rooms are beautiful, with comfortable beds and complimentary unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi, making them an excellent choice for leisure and business. The public areas are well-designed, and the swimming pool is a quiet place to relax when not exploring the city of Cape Town. The staff, including the manager, Jonathan, is very friendly. Cape Standard is a guest house that works and is one of the best guest houses I have stayed in my travels.
