Tucked away on Tubkaek Beach, Amari Vogue Krabi offers a beachfront Thai resort experience. Guests can relax in luxurious rooms showcasing modern Thai design. Dive into the pool or unwind by the ocean. Guests can also enjoy international cuisine or fresh seafood at the beachside restaurant. This 5-star resort is a good option for a comfortable chain hotel experience in Thailand.

My arrival experience: I was welcomed with a cold drink and an exotic lemongrass drink before being escorted to the room.

What I liked the most: Their Italian restaurant, Bellini.

What about the food: I checked out very early in the morning and can’t comment on the breakfast, but their Italian restaurant, Bellini, is one of the best in any Asian resort I’ve stayed. I enjoyed a great pizza with Italian ingredients. The service was attentive and quick.

What about the service: Mostly good. Some staff could need more training, but overall, they are good.

What about the rooms? This is a downside. The standard rooms are a bit too basic despite having been updated a bit, like replacing the TVs in recent years. The flatscreen TVs and separate jacuzzi tubs are nice, but there are no rain showers.

Number of rooms: 57.

Type of property: Resort.

Facilities: Spa, gym and swimming pool. All guests receive a 15-minute complimentary head and shoulder massage.

Complimentary internet: Yes, but around 1 MB/S isn’t much, and I experienced a few connection problems.

My overall impression: It was a good+ experience. I liked this resort and was very impressed with their Italian restaurant. The downsides are the rooms, the beach, and smoking on the balcony. I would still give it a good+ as the resort is up to a good standard with a nice spa, great staff, and a high priority on food and great value for money in the summer.
